The Diablo 3 Prophecy - pure speculation on my part

Edit: After having seen the screens, movies and what have you, i intend on making a statement on the “Fanboy Rage” that is circling diablo 3 like a shit cyclone in a later post.
As of late, a few stray images and error screens have lead the Diablo Franchise Zeolots, (myself included) to conclude that our lord and savior; prophesied to come ages before, is to be delivered unto us. That Diablo 3 is finally in the foreseeable future. Alas, this is speculation.
Yes, i could go in deep about how the splash screens match one thing or another, the phantom error screens on battle.net, and many other things. That wouldn’t be smart because thats borderline conspiracy theory, and thusly pointless without good information.
So, i say lets peice a few things together:
1) Hellgate:London was a Diablo 3 prototype in the most abstract of ways, it had all the identifing markers that would be what Diablo Fanboys would expect. the fact that it had quite a few design flaws shows that it wasn’t exactly ready for prime time. This doesn’t mean that blizzard won’t learn from its wayword bastard child’s mistakes. Safe money is on diablo being what Hellgate: London should have been.
2) One of the advantages that Blizzard was most excited about when the Activision/Vivindi/Blizzard merger happened was the fact that they had two other development departments and publishing resources at hand to work together if needed. This suggests that in lou of loosing the blizzard north crew that they now have two more in house development teams to draw on. Those being lead by the Blizzard dream team that is now finishing up minor things with StarCraft 2 and Wrath of the Lich King, will be a huge force, and may already have early alpha sets for Diablo 3 (or what ever project they are planning to announce).
3) All the tools needed to create a damn good Diablo 3 in the first person is there. The have the code of StarCraft:Ghost (Hell, that could be the game they plan on announcing. Lord knows the devs that worked on it had a real hard on for the project), they have all the signature things (randomly generated levels, items, crafting system, talent trees, lore, online play, obligitory Cow related things).
4) They have effectivly cut out the middle man. They have the development and publishing power, they won’t even need to alter it one bit. Meaning what ever innovations that have been sitting on the back burner because of publisher constraints will be used if applicable. This really pushes the idea that there is an X factor.
We have a general idea of what to expect from the Blizzard Dream Team. We aren’t sure if we’ll like it. This is why we are so excited. Is this truely the the Third Comming of our Savior of Gaming? I pray to Google that it’s what we hope for.
